Rev.Brian is a Graduate of ASK BibleSchooland has aBachelor of Theology from Victory College International.He has been in ministry for over 29 years and in theseyears of ministry he has planted a number of Churches.He has also traveled Preaching and Ministering acrossCanada and the UnitedStates. At the moment he is theLead Pastor at Center Point Victory Church in RothesayNB. He also has a passion to see the Gospel of ChristPreached to the lost and dying world and to express theFaith of Love and Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. He wasborn in Shemoque NB and he has been married to his wifeTeena for 28 years. He has one daughter who is atUniversity in Calgary,studying Theology andIntercultural Studies.We look forwardto his ministry asthe Evangelist at this year’s Ashram.
We are pleasedtowelcome Brother Stephen Dempsterasour Bible Study Leader at this year’s Atlantic ChristianAshram. Rev. Stephen Dempster, PhD.isaprofessorofReligious Studies a Crandall University in Moncton, NewBrunswick. Stephenis now an Emeritus Professor.Stephen has studied at Westminster TheologicalSeminary, Philadelphia and the University of Toronto. Hehas publishedin the area ofOld Testament Canon andBiblicalTheology and has a recent interest in BibleTranslation, having spent a recent sabbatical in Cameroon,West Africa. He has taught Old Testament and HebrewLanguage atCrandall University for over thirty years, asmall Christian liberal arts school in Moncton, NewBrunswick, Canada. Stephen is passionate about trying toconnect Scripture with life in our postmodern world. Hehas written two books (Dominion and Dynasty,Micah: ATheological Commentary) and numerous articles. He iscurrently writing commentaries on Genesis and Jeremiah.He also loves the game of baseball, and is a life-long fanof the Detroit Red Wings.We look forward to hisministry as the Bible Study Leader at this year’s Ashram.

TheAtlantic Christian Ashram, which began in 1969, is a5-day retreat held each year in July at the Berwick Camp-grounds in Berwick,Nova Scotia, Canada.The camp-groundsarerentedfromtheUnitedChurchCampMeeting Association and consist of over 35 acres on theedge of the town in the beautiful Annapolis Valley. It is aunique setting beneath a canopy of 100-foot tall hemlocktrees.The campground opens on the firstday at 8:00 AM andcheck-inbegins at 1:30 PM in the closed Pavilion,PLEASE NOTE: All attending MUST check in.The Ashram begins with the Open Heart on SaturdayeveningandendswiththeOverflowingHeartonThursdaymorningAHealingServiceisheldonWednesday evening.

We rely on volunteers to help the Ashram runsmoothly. Everyone is given anopportunity tovolunteer and “serve thefamily” duringthe Ashram.
Donations
The Atlantic Christian Ashram depends upon donations forits operations. Oneoffering is received on Wednesdayevening of the retreat to helpdefray expensesand supportother Ashrams. Alsodaily visitors areencouraged tomakea donationat the office. An official receipt for income taxpurposes will be issued for donations.

We are pleased to welcome Brother & Sister Dwight & Kristen as our Evangelists at this year’s Atlantic Christian Ashram. Dwight & Kristen have been married for 30 years, They have five children and one grandchild. Dwight is the owner of a design/build company in Halifax for over two decades. Dwight is also the leader of a ministry for pastors and leaders called Aaron Ministries Network; as a leader and a follower of Jesus, he has a passion for encouraging people in their walk with the Lord. He also loves ATVing, camping, and getting out in nature.
Kristen works as an accessibility assessor and instructor, speaking and training professionals how to assess built environments. She loves reading, knitting, and exploring our beautiful province, and as a follower of Jesus, Kristen embraces any opportunity to be part of encouraging others in their journey of faith. We look forward to their ministries as the Evangelists at this year’s Ashram.
Bible Teacher
We are pleased to welcome Brother Jamie as our Bible Study Leader at this year’s Atlantic Christian Ashram. He grew up around the Ashram and its people, nourished and encouraged in his faith and the use of his gifts by this remarkable community of everyday believers. He is the son of Gordon and Donna MacArthur, and big brother to Tena, Rob and Wendy. Jamie and Christy are celebrating 30 years of marriage this summer! They have 3 beloved young adult children.
Jamie has a Bachelor of Arts in English and French from Acadia University, and trained there for ministry as well, receiving his Master of Divinity degree from Acadia Divinity College. In recent years, he has had the privilege of studying the mission of the Church, giving some time and reflection to the Ashram community, and to the writing and ministry of its founder, E. Stanley Jones. In Christ, we have received a rich heritage through the Ashram over the years, and Jamie is eager to see how God will use this retreat to bless current and future generations, as they come to know and serve Jesus as Lord. He is Lord indeed! We look forward to his ministry as the Bible Study Leader at this year’s Ashram.
