The California Christian Ashram is held in the mountains of Idyllwild, California every Presidents Day Weekend in February. It is filled with meaningful worship, exuberant play, deep laughter and learning, joyous excursions, and time away from the hustle of every day life. It includes 3 nights, 9 meals, and an incredible Kingdom experience.

Rev. Brian Shimer, M Div, has been involved in the Christian Ashram movement since 1981. Brother Brian has spoken at Ashram events for three decades, as Jesus mightily impacted him through this movement. Brian loves leading groups in discussing God's Word and watching as the Holy Spirit brings deep applications. He also provides personal counseling through Lionhearted Ministries LLC.
Married to Karen, dad to four girls and grandfather to five, Brian loves his family.

David has served in full-time ministry for the past 25 years as a youth pastor, worship leader, associate pastor, and most recently, church planter. He and his wife, Keri, both possess a passion to raise up a new generation of Christian leaders rooted in strong biblical teaching, anointed worship & Spirit-led prayer. David and Keri, along with their two sons, Liam (15) and Uriah (12) have ministered to thousands in worship through their powerful musical leadership. In addition to their ministry commitments, David & Keri are also successful real estate agents in San Diego County helping families build generational wealth through wise investment strategies for over 16 years.

Rev. Matt Henson serves as the Executive Director for the United Christian Ashram International Ministry. Matt also serves as the Executive Director and Lead Evangelist for Living the Adventure Ministries, a
ministry he founded in 2007.
Brother Matt leads revivals, renewal events, and Christian Ashrams, while also leading teams on mission trips to Haiti, Zimbabwe, India, and domestically in the United States. Matt works alongside other United Christian Ashrams staff to help expand the UCAI vision internationally.
Matt lives in rural Southern Illinois with his wife, Nancy and five children.
